LITTLE RED
HIDING HOOD
In a highschool lunch break, Julianne must deliver some bad news to Bevin: his party don’t want him to be the school parliament Prime Minister anymore - they want her.
Secret ambitions, insecurities and unspoken truths unravel, just like Julianne’'s long red hair.
Little Red Hiding Hood is a short play, written for New Theatre's (Newtown, Sydney) Women, Power & Culture: Then and Now production in 2011. Established and emerging female playwrights were commissioned to contribute work inspired by historical and contemporary women, and the issues important to them.
